Any excuse to dress up for work is a good one at The Write Impression, so when we heard about Heart Radio’s ‘Dress Loud’ for Make Some Noise there were no objections in the office. Raising money to help support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, along with Heart, we were proud to be supporting Global’s Make Some Noise, one of the UK’s leading music charities.
Wanting to get involved with such a deserving charity, everyone at The Write Impression dug deep into the back of the wardrobe to find the loudest clothes for our fundraising event. From a bright pink tutu with pink legwarmers (and that was just Andrew) to a red wig and multicoloured striped socks, everyone had found only the most outlandish clothes for the occasion. Along with cakes for the 11 o’clock tea break, there was a winner’s voucher for Janice who deservingly won the ‘Most Outrageously Dressed’; making the entire day a success.
Additionally, with both Kate and Caroline interviewed on Heart Radio, the loud clothes were certainly worth the funny looks received when running to and from the toilet. More importantly, with Make Some Noise at the heart of the day, the team at The Write Impression are proud to have raised over £50 so far. We hope our contribution to such a great charity is enjoyed as much as we enjoyed the experience. If you’d like to donate to this cause contact Heart Radio at http://www.heart.co.uk/
